Abstract submission deadline:
August 21st, 2006
Please format your abstract in Microsoft Word and email it to
office@proconference.at. Do not submit abstracts by fax. Abstracts that do not comply with the guidelines will not be accepted.
Authors are requested to submit abstracts
in English.
Formatting:
1,5 space all typing
leave blank line between title and body
please use 'Arial' font, size 11pt.
The abstract should not exceed
2,000 characters (including empty spaces). Abstracts will be accepted as
poster presentation - please indicate if you are willing to present your poster as an oral presentation in the e-mail.
Abstract titles should not be longer than two lines and should not be in all caps (e.g. correct: Comparative Analysis of the 3 PDE 5 Inhibitors Sildenafil, Tadalafil and Vardenafil - Personal Experience and Review of the Literature)
Type the
author's initial first and then the family name followed by the rest of the authors' names, underlining the name of the presenting author, then the institutions, city and country (e.g. N. Huber1, R. Schneider2, S. Müller3, 1Univ. Clinic, Dept. of Urology, Vienna, Austria, 2Hanusch Hospital, Vienna, Austria, 3Univ. Clinic Hamburg, Germany). The complete address and email can be added at the very end of the abstract if wanted.
All abstracts must be structured as follows:
Background: A statement of the hypothesis or research question.
Methods: An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.
Results: A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading of the abstracts.
Statements such as "additional information to be presented at the meeting" are not acceptable.
Conclusion: Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study.
If possible, do not include graphs or tables.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The accepted abstract will be assigned to appropriate poster session. A notification will be emailed to every author.
All authors who wish to present their abstract at the congress must pay the registration fee. No honorarium, travel or accommodation expenses will be provided for presentations.
